The Sabbath Question re-emerges
‘The observance of Sunday by Protestants is an homage they pay in spite of themselves to the authority of the (Catholic) church.’ Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, from the French, Monseignor Segur.
“The Pope is, as it were, God on earth, sole sovereign of the faithful of Christ, chief king of kings, having plenitude of power to whom has been entrusted by the Almighty God direction not only of the earthly but also of the heavenly kingdom. The Pope is of so great authority and
power that He can modify, explain or interpret even divine laws.”
Ferraris’s Ecclesiastical Dictionary Article—Papa.

Will you remember God on His day - or on a day chosen by men for power, authority, convenience and politics? Will you honour the authority of God, as found in His Word, or the authority of a religious organisation?

The Bible does not give any evidence of a change of the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week.
