REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY

God wrote these words in stone -

‘Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy.’

‘Six days thou shalt labour and do all thy work.’

‘The seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God.’

About Us

In Revelation 14:6,7 God gives a final warning to everyone living in the world before He makes an end of all things. He commands them to acknowledge Him as God. He says specifically that He is the Creator God, who made the heaven and the earth. By giving Him the worship that He asks for on the seventh day, the memorial of the time when He created the world, we can show that we honour Him above all things

Gordon and Heather have kept the Sabbath holy for all of their lives and they know the blessings of Sabbath keeping first hand. In these web pages they have set out to show the immense blessings that come from doing what God has planned for our lives.

• GOD GAVE A GIFT. At first, the Sabbath was given to the human race as a gift from God. It is the only day of the week that has been blessed by God.
• GOD GAVE A REMINDER. Later the Sabbath began to slip from people’s memory. God put it in the Ten Commandments as a reminder. ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.’ Exodus 20:8
• GOD GIVES A COMMAND. Today both the fact of Creation and the gift of the Sabbath are all but totally lost from human knowledge and God has had to give a command with a loud voice - ‘Worship Him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters.’ Revelation 14:7

Read the longing of God’s heart for all living on this world—’O that there were such an heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always that it might be well with them and with their children forever.’ Deuteronomy 5:29.
