The Sabbath Question re-emerges

‘The Sabbath was made for man.’

It was designed for us. It is for a blessing to us. It is a gift to us.

The day of the Sabbath has been:

  • Blessed by God and hallowed.
  • He has made it a holy day, a sacred day.
  • The day has been sanctified by God. He has set it apart from all the other six for a holy purpose.
If we choose to worship on Sunday, the first day of the week, the blessing has not been put on that day, so we are only cheating ourselves and disappointing God. God’s commandments are literal and specific. It does not mean that you are of lesser intelligence if you accept the Word of God as it reads, particularly the Ten Commandments.
Would your household be different,
if you had the blessing of God on everything for one day a week?
Think of the peace and tranquillity, and the renewed refreshment ready for the week ahead!
